Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes
- Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
- Lead performance management and appraisal cycles
- Coordinate staff training, learning, and career development plans
- Oversee compensation, benefits, and payroll processes in coordination with finance
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian Labour Law and statutory regulations (PENCOM, NHF, NSITF, ITF, etc.)
- Drive employee engagement and help build a strong organizational culture
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3–6 years of relevant HR experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial or independent role
- In-depth knowledge of Nigerian Labour Law and HR compliance practices
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- Proven ability to work independently and take initiative
- Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain industry is an added advantage
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office tools
- CIPM certification is preferred but not mandatory
