A leading indigenous engineering, design, manufacturing, installation, construction, and servicing company in Nigeria seeks a proactive and detail-oriented HR/Administrative Officer to join our team. This role ensures smooth operations and fosters a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee recruitment processes, including posting job vacancies, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
- Manage employee onboarding, training, and development programs.
- Maintain accurate employee records, including attendance, leave, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Coordinate office operations, including procurement of office supplies and maintaining office facilities.
- Organize and manage meetings, events, and other administrative activities.
- Address employee queries and support a healthy workplace culture.
- Prepare reports and documentation as required by management.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. HR certification (CIPM, CIPD) is an advantage
- 3 to 5 years of experience in HR and administrative roles.
- Strong understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and administrative processes.
- Oil and Gas industry experience required
- Proven record in talent management, employee relations, and HR compliance
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR management software is an advantage.
