Job Summary

Your role will encompass managing core HR functions such as job design, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and talent management. Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Management:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Partner with executives to create functional people plans that enhance employee experiences and support organizational goals.
  • Build and maintain a strong, high-performance culture that aligns with the company’s values and mission.
  • Deliver a structured recruitment process to hire top talent within defined timelines.


Employee Lifecycle Management:

  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent.
  • Oversee the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, development, retention, and offboarding.
  • Support current and future business needs through employee engagement, motivation, and talent preservation.


Performance & Development:

  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system to drive high performance and employee growth.
  • Assess training needs, and design, and implement effective training and development programs.
  • Develop career progression frameworks and nurture opportunities for employee advancement.
  • Work with People’s Operations Executives for strategic oversight and hands-on management across all HR disciplines.
  • Regularly review and adjust key performance indicators (KPIs) to align with business objectives.
  • Develop leadership programs to nurture future leaders within the organization.


Employee Relations & Culture:

  • Act as a bridge between management and employees by addressing demands, grievances, and other issues.
  • Foster a positive working environment and ensure effective internal communication to promote collaboration.
  • Own and manage internal communications to keep employees informed and engaged.

  • Maintain and manage the company’s pay plans, reward systems, and benefits programs.
  • Ensure competitive and fair compensation strategies that drive retention and employee satisfaction.


Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure legal compliance across all aspects of HR, including employment law, safety standards, and GDPR.
  • Report HR metrics to senior leadership and provide decision support through data- driven insights.
  • Develop and monitor HR systems, tactics, and procedures for continuous improvement.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree or certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, CIPD) is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience as an HR Manager or in a senior HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment law.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to execute operationally.
  • Proficiency in HR software and metrics-driven decision-making.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to foster strong relationships.


Additional Attributes:

  • A passion for travel and delivering exceptional client experiences.
  • Knowledge of global travel destinations and visa requirements is an advantage.


Monthly Milestone Bonus:

  • Ensure there are no overdue tasks.
  • Execute monthly deliverables as outlined above.
  • Execute 3 activities to improve performance (e.g., wellness initiatives, team-building exercises, SOP training, Capacity building).
  • Carry out 3 internal surveys.

If points 1,2 (3 or 4) are distinction rated, a “Milestone Bonus” of NGN 150,000 is awarded for the month.

Work Schedule:

  • The work schedule is from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. An hour break from 12 Noon to 1:00 PM applies.
  • Workdays are Monday to Friday. However, it is customary that you have flexible hours on a 24-hour schedule to aid operations and efficiency across different time zones – hence, accessibility at all times is required.
  • On some occasions, a 4-hour Saturday may be required.
  • 3-days weekly onsite resumption is required.
  • You can utilize the office more often for electricity and internet service.


Location: Lekki

Remuneration: NGN 300,000 above
