Job Summary
A mining and energy company based in Lagos requires a Human Resource Officer with a minimum of 3 years and maximum of 5 years experience to come on board on a permanent basis. The purpose of the role is to support business objectives. The HR Officer is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the human resource department, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance with labor and industry specific regulations, training & development, and performance management. This role ensures that the organization attracts, retains and develop top talents while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Develop and post job descriptions on various platforms. Screen resumes, schedule interviews, and assist in the selection process. Conduct onboarding processes and ensure a smooth integration for new hires.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns. Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts in a fair and consistent manner. Promote a positive workplace culture & employee engagement.
- Training & Development: Identify training needs and coordinate development programs. Monitor the effectiveness of training and provide feedback for improvement. Ensure employees have access to career advancement opportunities.
- Performance Management: Coordinate and oversee performance appraisal systems. Address under performance issues and recommend appropriate actions.
- HR Policies & Compliance: Ensure the organization complies with labor laws & regulations. Maintain and update H RR policies and employee handbooks. Oversee employee records and ensure data confidentiality.
- Payroll & Benefits Administration: Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate and timely salary disbursement. Manage employee and address related inquiries.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict- resolution skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and work in a fast- paced environment.
