THE OPPORTUNITY:

We're looking for an experienced, strategic HR & Administrative Manager to shape our talent strategy and lead our human resources operations. This role combines strategic HR leadership with hands-on administrative and operational management, offering a unique opportunity to build and nurture a world-class team in a fast-growing global organization. The successful candidate will support various HR and administrative functions, including testing, recruitment, talent management, policy implementation, and office administration. This is a mid-level to senior role.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


A. HR Operations

  • Design and implement comprehensive HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Manage benefits programs and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee performance management processes and talent development initiatives.
  • Develop training and onboarding material to support the continuous learning and development of our employees.


B. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition

  • Devise a scalable approach to attracting, recruiting, developing, and retaining diverse, high-caliber talent.
  • Own and drive the full lifecycle recruitment process from job posting to candidate onboarding, ensuring adherence to key metrics.
  • Develop and implement effective and scalable onboarding programs.
  • Organize and participate in talent outreach events and employer branding initiatives such as webinars, career fairs, and campus visits to promote Ledgeris as an employer of choice.


C. Employee Relations & Development

  • Drive employee engagement and culture-building initiatives.
  • Provide strategic guidance to leadership on workforce planning and development.
  • Manage performance evaluation systems and professional development programs.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and maintain government relationships.


D. Office and Administrative Management

  • Oversee office operations, including procurement and logistics.
  • Manage travel arrangements and administrative support functions.
  • Coordinate with global teams on cross-functional initiatives.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:


A. Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred.
  • Professional certifications (PHRi, SPHRi, GPHR, CIPM, or SHRM) are a strong advantage.


B. Professional Experience

  • 8-10 years of progressive HR and recruitment leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in recruitment and HR for international organizations.
  • Demonstrable track record of building and scaling HR functions.
  • Experience with HRIS implementation and management.


C. Required Skills

  • Strategic thinking and data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a bias for action.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours when necessary.
  • Demonstrable ability to present complex ideas with clarity and confidence.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and influence decisions across all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrable in-depth knowledge of Nigerian Labor Law and other regional employment laws.
  • Demonstrable skill in leveraging data analytics to make informed decisions about people strategy.
  • Exceptional levels of integrity.


D. Language Requirements

  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • French proficiency isn't required but is a strong advantage

PAY BAND:

N850,000 ⎯ N1,000,000 per month
