Role Description
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Human Resources Business Partner to join our team in Lagos. In this full-time hybrid position, you will be pivotal in driving HR initiatives that align with our business goals. Your expertise will be essential in shaping our HR policies, fostering employee relations, ensuring compliance with labour and employment laws and enhancing performance management practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Strategy Development: Collaborate with leadership to design and implement HR strategies that support organizational objectives and promote a high-performance culture.
- Policy Development: Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure they are aligned with best practices and legal requirements.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management, addressing concerns and facilitating effective communication to foster a positive workplace environment.
- Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with labour and employment laws, regulations, and company policies, proactively identifying areas for improvement.
- Performance Management: Lead the performance management process, guiding managers and employees to enhance productivity and engagement.
- Data Analysis: Utilize HR analytics to assess trends and metrics, providing insights that inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs and support the development of programs that enhance employee skills and career growth.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Human Resources, preferably in a business partner capacity.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, employee relations, and labour and employment law.
- Proven experience in performance management and talent development.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Compensation:
NGN 200,000, commensurate with experience.
