Job Summary

The Human Resource Officer will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Director of the school, ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures, and contributing to the development of HR strategies that align with the school's goals.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, and interview coordination.
  • Provide support on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, and employee communications.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records, manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, and maintain HR databases and systems.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations, and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, including employee recognition programs, staff events, and benefits administration.
  • Provide HR metrics and analytics to support data-driven decision-making.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
  • Professional HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, HRCI) are an advantage.
