Job Summary:


We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Human Resources Manager to join our growing team at Yellow Door Apartments. This role will be crucial in fostering a vibrant company culture that mirrors the work-leisure balance found in leading global organizations. You will play a key role in building culture, boosting staff morale, and creating an innovative environment where employees are motivated and empowered. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving employee engagement, work-life balance, and career growth.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Culture Building: Develop, implement, and maintain a positive workplace culture that promotes collaboration, innovation, and employee well-being.
  2. Boost Staff Morale: Design and implement employee engagement programs, wellness initiatives, and work-life balance strategies to ensure high levels of staff satisfaction and productivity.
  3. Recruitment and Onboarding: Lead the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring that Yellow Door Apartments attracts top talent aligned with our company values and culture.
  4. Performance Management: Oversee the performance management process, providing guidance and support to managers in evaluating staff performance and implementing development plans.
  5. Employee Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations, addressing concerns and conflicts professionally and ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  6. Training and Development: Lead employee training and professional development programs that foster continuous learning and align with the company’s strategic goals.
  7. Compensation and Benefits: Manage competitive compensation structures, benefits programs, and performance-based rewards to retain top talent and foster loyalty.
  8. Compliance: Ensure all HR policies and procedures are compliant with local labor laws and industry regulations.
  9. Development and Monitoring of KPIs and OKRs: Define, implement, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives and key results (OKRs) to establish measurable and trackable standards for employee performance and organizational growth.


Qualifications and Requirements:


  1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably within the hospitality or service industry.
  3. Proven experience in building and maintaining workplace culture, with a track record of boosting employee morale.
  4. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
  5. Experience in managing recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
  6. Knowledge of local labor laws and regulations.
  7. A creative and innovative mindset with a passion for fostering a positive work environment.
  8. Proficiency in Google workspace, HR software and other applicable  tools.



Remuneration:

We offer a competitive salary package, commensurate with experience and skills, along with opportunities for professional growth. Basic salary will range between N200,000 to N400,000. Detailed information about benefits will be provided during the interview process.
