Job Title: Human Resource Manager
Location: Lekki, Lagos.

Salary: 350,000-400Kgross
Our Client, a thriving a la carte restaurant dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences is seeking an experienced HR Manager to contribute to the success and growth of the organization. The ideal candidate will have an HR experience in a restaurant or hospitality industry and with a strong understanding of HR best practices.
Responsibilities:
Lead HR initiatives related to organizational changes, mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring.
- Policy Development:
Formulate and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with legal requirements and organizational goals.
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
Facilitate effective onboarding programs to ensure a smooth integration of new employees.
- Employee Relations:
Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely and confidential manner.
Promote a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives.
- Performance Management:
Implement and oversee performance management processes, including goal setting and evaluations.
Provide guidance to employees and managers on performance-related matters.
- Training and Development:
Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs.
Employee Handbook Development:
Develop and update the employee handbook, ensuring it reflected current policies and procedures.
Leadership Development:
Facilitate leadership development programs to groom and nurture potential leaders within the organization.
- Benefits Administration:
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance and other perks.
Address employee inquiries related to benefits.
- Data Management:
Maintain accurate HR records and databases.
Generate regular reports on HR metrics for management review.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in human resources in Restaurant or hospitality industry or related field
- Excellent knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to relate to individuals at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
- Experience with conflict resolution and employee relations
