Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate HVAC maintenance activities aboard our vessel in the shipyard.
- Ensure HVAC systems operate efficiently and comply with maritime safety regulations.
- Develop maintenance schedules and oversee timely repairs throughout the project duration.
- Provide training and guidance to HVAC technicians.
- Monitor and report on system performance and maintenance activities.
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in HVAC/Mechanical Engineering or, relevant technical certificate with hands-on experience in HVAC maintenance with leadership skills.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in HVAC maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in HVAC systems and controls for marine environments.
Additional Skills:
- Experience managing HVAC systems on ships or offshore platforms.
- Certification in maritime HVAC safety.
- Familiarity with smart HVAC technologies used in the marine industry.
