Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems aboard client’s marine vessel in the shipyard.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems operating in a marine environment.
- Ensure compliance with maritime safety and regulatory standards.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain detailed service records and reports.
Requirements:
- Diploma or technical certification in HVAC or hands-on experience in HVAC maintenance for marine vessels.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in HVAC maintenance and repair.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigerants, and control systems used in marine applications.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Additional Skills:
- Experience working in marine vessels, shipyards, or offshore platforms.
- Familiarity with energy-efficient HVAC technologies.
- Certification in HVAC safety and maritime compliance standards.
