Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first and second-level technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently, minimizing downtime.
  • Document support requests and resolutions in our ticketing system.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and network devices.
  • Perform regular system updates, backups, and security checks.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  • Manage software licenses and ensure compliance.
  • Assist with the procurement, installation, and maintenance of hardware and software.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance productivity.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining security measures to protect data and systems.
  • Educate users on cybersecurity best practices.
  • Contribute to data backup and recovery procedures.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
  • Generate reports on system performance and support activities.
  • Assist with IT project documentation.
  • Assist with the implementation of technology projects.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).   
  • At least 5 years of experience in an ICT support or system administration role.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), networking principles, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in using IT support tools and software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.   
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+) are a plus.
