Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide first and second-level technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently, minimizing downtime.
- Document support requests and resolutions in our ticketing system.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and network devices.
- Perform regular system updates, backups, and security checks.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Manage software licenses and ensure compliance.
- Assist with the procurement, installation, and maintenance of hardware and software.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance productivity.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining security measures to protect data and systems.
- Educate users on cybersecurity best practices.
- Contribute to data backup and recovery procedures.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
- Generate reports on system performance and support activities.
- Assist with IT project documentation.
- Assist with the implementation of technology projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 5 years of experience in an ICT support or system administration role.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), networking principles, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in using IT support tools and software.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+) are a plus.
