Job Summary
The Inspection/Surveillance Engineer (or Supervisor) is responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and verifying that all construction, fabrication, and installation activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, codes, and quality standards. This role ensures that workmanship and materials meet project requirements.

Job Description/Requirements
- Conduct field inspections and ongoing surveillance of site activities including civil, mechanical, electrical, piping, or structural works (as applicable).
- Verify compliance with project specifications, drawings, and relevant codes and standards (e.g., API, ASME, ISO, ASTM).
- Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance to ensure adherence to quality procedures and ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans).
- Review and verify material certificates, test results, welding logs, calibration records, and inspection reports.
- Raise non-conformance reports (NCRs), recommend corrective actions, and verify implementation.
- Participate in inspection walkdowns, punch list verification, and system handover processes.
- Coordinate with QA/QC Engineers, construction supervisors, and client representatives to resolve quality issues.
- Witness factory and site acceptance tests (FATs/SATs) where required.
- Ensure proper documentation, traceability, and control of inspection records and reports.
- Promote safety and compliance in all inspection activities.
Requirements:
