Job Summary
The Design Architect will support senior architects and project managers in developing architectural designs and solutions. This entry-level role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of architectural design, from conceptualization to implementation.
Responsibilities
- Professionally execute client design briefs ensuring acceptance without complaint or modification on first submission
- Ensure the achievement and adherence to cost objectives for functional area
- Achieve set annual turnover from design advisory services
- Stay abreast with technology advancements in design and implement at least 1 cost effective innovation annually to ensure the company’s products and services standout
- Leverage and upsell design advisory in achieving additional 20% in revenues from job orders
- Raising of Job instruction and order for cost drafting and technical details extraction.
- Administer executives’ record-keeping system
- Maintains office inventory and initiates requisition.
- Prepare Invoice for Clients based on client brief and GQ
- Ensure site visitation on assigned project for prompt effectiveness.
- Ensure readiness of the Site either directly handle or otherwise and properly integrate project teams with every detail of the site.
- Ensure project teams are driving the installation according to technical drawing & details.
- Support Sr. Project Architect with project/installation deliverables
Qualifications
- ethical Knowledge – Demonstrable skill, depth of experience and expertise within the functional area of design architecture and understanding of processes, products and service technology.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Personal Attributes – Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ethics – Demonstrates the highest standards of ethical and moral conduct in carrying out responsibilities.
- Teamwork – Ability to collaborate with staff within own unit productively and across the organization, fostering
- Innovation – Ability to use own aptitude to bring forth new ideas or techniques towards starting, following through or completing a plan or task as well as devising means to solve problems in new ways and/ or developing ideas based on an original, novel, or unconventional approach.
- 1-3 years of experience in architectural design or related fields.
- Time Management - Achieves maximum productivity through the effective management and use of time. Promptly responds to all work enquiries. Consistently meets deadlines and has proven reliability in adherence to time lines.
