Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed pharmacists with dispensing medication and handling patient inquiries.
- Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls, responding to patient queries, and updating patient records.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and restocking shelves.
- Participate in patient counseling and education under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using pharmacy software and basic computer applications is a plus.
