Internal Control Manager

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain internal control policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and ensure appropriate risk management strategies are in place.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and suggest improvements.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure alignment and adherence to internal control practices.
• Prepare and present reports on the status of internal controls and compliance to senior management.
• Lead internal audits and coordinate with external auditors.
• Provide guidance and training to staff on internal control procedures and compliance requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CIA) is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in internal control or related roles.
• At least 2 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Remuneration: NGN 3-6 Million naira per Annum
