Internal Control Officer

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular assessments and audits of internal processes, controls, and systems
• Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the company’s internal control framework and recommend improvements.
• Identify potential risks across business processes, particularly in asset management operations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure the company adheres to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with compliance teams to address control gaps and noncompliance issues.
• Monitor daily transactions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal controls.
• Prepare detailed internal control reports and present findings to senior management.
• Conduct investigations into suspicious activities or financial discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in implementing and strengthening anti-fraud measures across the company.
• Collaborate with various departments to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
• Provide guidance to staff on internal control best practices.
• Conduct internal training sessions to raise awareness of the importance of internal controls and risk management.
• Ensure that employees are aware of their responsibilities in maintaining a controlled work environment.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role
