To oversee all Charlvon inventory control and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system aspects. This role will optimize inventory levels, ensure accurate data, and leverage the ERP system to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory control processes, including cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts and overstocks.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement inventory forecasting and replenishment models.
- Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping inventory.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth inventory flow.
ERP System Management:
- Configure and maintain the Sage 300 ERP system to meet business needs.
- Generate reports and provide insights on inventory levels, trends, and performance metrics.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency and cost savings within the ERP system.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest ERP system functionalities and industry best practices.
- Provide training and support to users on ERP system features and processes.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
- Generate accurate and timely reports on inventory performance, stock levels, and inventory data.
- Use data analysis tools to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement data-driven decision-making strategies.
Strategic Planning and Optimization:
- Develop and implement long-term inventory management strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, such as negotiating better deals with suppliers or optimizing shipping and handling costs.
- Conduct regular reviews of inventory policies and procedures to ensure they are efficient and effective.
Process Improvement:
- Analyze current inventory processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement new technologies and tools to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory management.
Risk management:
- Identify and mitigate potential risks, such as stockouts, overstocks, and theft.
- Implement robust security measures to protect inventory assets.
- Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions to the supply chain.
Vendor management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Negotiate favourable terms and conditions with suppliers.
Compliance and Audit:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with the Internal Control and Audit department to conduct regular internal audits to assess inventory accuracy and control measures.
- Prepare for and participate in external audits
Leadership:
- Work with the line manager to provide ongoing coaching and development to team members.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory control and ERP systems management.
- Proven experience with Sage 300, particularly in Inventory Control and other relevant modules (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable).
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles (ABC analysis, forecasting, safety stock).
- Experience with warehouse operations and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
- Strong data analysis experience and expertise.
- Experience with project management methodologies.
