Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage inventory systems to track stock levels, orders, and deliveries.
- Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Coordinate with procurement and sales teams to align inventory with demand forecasts.
- Implement processes to optimize storage, handling, and distribution of inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards for inventory management.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and stock replenishment.
- Prepare and present inventory reports for management review.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and software.
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory tools is a plus.
