Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Inventory:
- Oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand and prevent stockouts.
- Conduct regular physical counts of inventory and reconcile them with system records.
- Develop and maintain inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Forecasting & Planning:
- Collaborate with sales, procurement, and production teams to predict inventory needs based on historical data, upcoming sales, and production schedules.
- Adjust purchasing and stock levels based on seasonal demand, market trends, and supply chain conditions.
- Prepare inventory reports and forecasts for senior management.
Stock Monitoring & Optimization:
- Track stock levels and implement inventory replenishment strategies.
- Identify slow-moving or obsolete items and develop strategies to reduce excess inventory.
- Optimize storage space by organizing products efficiently and cost-effectively.
Warehouse & Supply Chain Coordination:
- Ensure timely receiving, inspecting, and storing of incoming stock from suppliers.
- Work with logistics teams to ensure that inventory is delivered to the correct locations on schedule.
- Ensure that inventory is tracked across all warehouses and supply points.
Requirements:
- 2 years experience
- HND/Degree in a related field
