Job Summary
We are seeking to hire a good Inventory Specialist to be responsible in carrying out periodic inventory counts of stocked goods in the stores and warehouse.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out periodic inventory counts of stocked goods in the stores and warehouse.
- Tracking incoming and outgoing orders via the various means provided.
- Carrying out stock adjustment after approval.
- In-warding of received goods into their respective stores.
- Restock goods on the shelf from the storage, once depleted
- Ensures the Implementation of FEFO by the logistics, and order fulfillment team
- Escalate, and resolve issues of shortages, overages, or damaged products, to the management and inventory auditor
- Checks for, and communicates depleting items to the procurement team.
- Checks for, and communicates near expiry items to the sales team.
- Issuing of spare parts to the order fulfillment team.
- Issuing holding stock to regional offices.
- Issuing of expired items out of the system, after approval.
- Ensure that the stores and warehouse are clean and organized.
- Providing goods availability from requesting teams.
Requirements:
- BSc/HND in Accounting, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Other Science Disciplines.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Supply Chain Management, Inventory, and Store Management.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good creative and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
- Good Organizational skills.
- Ability to take initiative.
- Must be computer literate
