Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Support in writing presentations, reports, and summary notes.
- Participation in meetings, note-taking, synthesis/reporting;
- Participation in the technical coordination of projects: logistical support, updating of project monitoring tools (internal communication), etc.
- Follow-up and updating of program editorial calendar and data collection from our stakeholders (beneficiaries, partners, etc.).
- Prepare content for social media posts in coordination with the communications team;
- Follow-up of strategic and operational communication activities.
- Suggest best practices and benchmarks to improve the cluster's communications
- Elaboration of communication materials in collaboration with our service providers.
- Active follow-up of appointments
- Support for event design and preparation of validation documents (concept note, detailed program, etc.).
- Logistical coordination under the supervision of the investment team (organization of sessions, logistical organization of speakers, administrative follow-up, reservations, etc.).
- Conceptualization, preparation, and implementation, with the help of colleagues and partners, of an online event to publicize our fundraising activities to an identified high-potential target group.
- More generally, actively contribute to the Digital Africa team on cross-functional topics, as and when required.
Requirements:
- Business school, engineering school, or equivalent
- Experience or interest in the world of innovation, startups, entrepreneurship, and/or international development organizations
- Experience or interest in Africa
- Excellent writing and speaking skills
- Organized, autonomous, and able to communicate with a wide range of contacts (service providers, investors, startups, consulting firms, corporates, etc.).
- Strong curiosity, ability to synthesize and analyze, and good knowledge of the world of startups in general and African tech in particular.
- Project management skills, versatility
- Rigor, organizational skills
- Ability to report on activities spontaneously and succinctly
- Ability to adapt to change, adaptability
- Autonomy and ability to make proposals
