Job Title: Investment & Treasury Manager
Location: Ajah, Lagos
About Us
We are a newly established microfinance bank preparing to launch operations, focused on financial inclusion, wealth creation, and sustainable growth. We seek a highly skilled professional to oversee treasury operations, investment portfolio management, and customer wealth creation.
Responsibilities
- Liquidity & Cash Flow Management – Ensure optimal cash flow for daily banking operations and regulatory compliance.
- Investment Strategy & Portfolio Management – Develop and execute investment strategies to maximize returns while mitigating risks.
- Treasury Operations – Manage bank funding and fixed-income securities.
- Customer Portfolio Management – Oversee customer investments, providing advisory services and identifying high-return opportunities tailored to clients’ needs.
- Development & Management of Investment Products – Design and enhance investment products, including mutual funds, asset management, and wealth creation solutions.
- Revenue Optimization & Cost Control – Identify profitable investment opportunities for both the bank and its customers while managing financial risks efficiently.
- Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management – Ensure compliance with CBN and other financial regulations governing investments and treasury functions.
- Collaborations & Partnerships – Build and manage relationships with financial institutions, investment partners, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
- Minimum of a first degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in treasury, investment management, asset management, or financial markets, preferably in the microfinance banking sector.
- Strong understanding of CBN investment regulations, liquidity management, and risk assessment.
- Proven experience in customer portfolio management and helping clients achieve high returns on investments.
- Expertise in mutual funds, asset management, and wealth creation strategies is highly desirable.
- Professional certifications (ACIB, ICAN, ACCA, CFA) are an added advantage.
