Job Description/Requirements
- Ensure all IT support requests are resolved within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Identify root causes of recurring issues and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT hardware (e.g., PCs, laptops, printers, servers) and software across the business.
- Ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure, including LAN/Wireless networks, internet connectivity, and telecommunication systems.
- Implement and enforce IT security policies to protect the organization's data, systems, and networks.
- Coordinate with vendors for software upgrades, bug fixes, and hardware repairs.
- Negotiate with internet service providers and monitor service agreements.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users on IT policies, security best practices, and system usage.
- Prepare and manage the annual IT budget for hardware, software, and maintenance.
- Plan and manage IT projects, including software implementations, system upgrades, and infrastructure expansions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT management, preferably in a microfinance or banking environment.
- Proficiency in managing IT support desks and user infrastructure.
- Experience with banking software (e.g., BankOne, T24, Udara) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with hardware and software installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
