I.T Officer

Responsibilities:

• Network Administration: Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer networks.
• Hardware/Software Support: Troubleshooting and maintaining computer systems, peripherals, and software.
• Cybersecurity: Implementing security measures to protect against cyber threats.
• Data Management: Ensuring data integrity, backup, and recovery.
• Technical Support: Providing assistance to users via phone, email, or in-person.
• System Updates/Upgrades: Installing and configuring new hardware/software.
• IT Projects: Participating in planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT projects.
• Compliance: Ensuring adherence to IT policies, regulations, and standards.
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of IT systems, networks, and procedures.
• Training: Educating users on new technologies and best practices.
• Web development: Working on website development and designs
• Sending reports and updating reports (Monthly Credit Bureau).
• Liaising with third parties
• Purchase of IT equipment

Requirements:

• IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Cisco CCNA) added advantage
• Strong technical knowledge of operating systems, networks, and software.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
