Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Staff member to support our organization's technology infrastructure. The IT Staff will be responsible for maintaining hardware and software systems, troubleshooting technical issues, assisting employees with IT-related concerns, and ensuring data security and network efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of IT systems, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide technical support to employees on hardware, software, and network-related issues. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment. Respond to and resolve IT support tickets in a timely manner.
- System & Network Administration: Ensure the proper functioning of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls. Monitor system performance and security to prevent downtime and cyber threats. Assist in managing cloud services, databases, and internal IT systems.
- Software & Hardware Management: Install and update operating systems, software applications, and security patches. Maintain inventory of IT assets, including computers, peripherals, and software licenses. Set up and configure new user accounts, email addresses, and access permissions.
- Data Security & Backup: Implement data backup and recovery strategies to prevent data loss. Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices. Assist in cybersecurity measures such as antivirus protection, firewall management, and access controls.
- IT Project Support: Assist in the planning and execution of IT-related task during projects, such as scripting, team tracking and monitoring.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and IT security best practices.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Certifications (Not Mandatory):
- CompTIA A+ / Network+ / Security+
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- ITIL Foundation Certification
