Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and tech-savvy IT Support Officer & Robotics/Coding Instructor to join our team. This dual-role position requires a professional who can efficiently manage IT support for the school while also delivering engaging robotics and coding lessons to students. The ideal candidate will be passionate about both technology infrastructure and STEM education, ensuring smooth digital operations while inspiring the next generation of innovators.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
IT Support & Infrastructure Management:
- Provide technical support to students, teachers, and staff for hardware, software, network, and classroom technology issues.
- Maintain and troubleshoot computer systems, internet connectivity, printers, projectors, and interactive whiteboards.
- Ensure the security and integrity of the school’s IT systems, including data backup and cybersecurity measures.
- Install, configure, and update operating systems, software applications, and security protocols.
- Manage email accounts, school databases, learning management systems (LMS), and cloud platforms.
- Support the implementation of new educational technologies and provide training for staff as needed.
Robotics & Coding Instruction:
- Develop and deliver engaging coding and robotics lessons to students using platforms such as Scratch, Python, Arduino, LEGO Mindstorms, and other STEM tools.
- Teach fundamental computer science concepts, problem-solving, and logical thinking through hands-on projects.
- Guide students in robotics competitions, hackathons, and coding challenges.
- Foster an innovative learning environment that encourages creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking.
- Stay updated with the latest STEM education trends and recommend new technologies or teaching methodologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT support, network administration, or system troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages (Python, Java, Scratch, C++, etc.) and robotics kits (LEGO, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc.).
- Experience in STEM education, teaching, or mentoring students in technology-related subjects is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and educational software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and a passion for technology and education.
