IT Support Officer

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to end-users for computer software and hardware-related issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain basic computer software applications and operating systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems and perform repairs or upgrades as necessary.
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of computer networks and peripherals.
• Maintain accurate records of IT equipment inventory and software licenses.
• Assist in implementing IT security measures to protect company data and systems.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on basic IT usage and best practices.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend upgrades or improvements as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field (preferred)
• Proven experience in providing technical support for computer software and hardware.
• Strong knowledge of computer operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.
• Familiarity with basic networking concepts and protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to IT maintenance and support.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or equivalent are a plus.
• The Candidate should be organized, with 3 - 5 years of proven experience in I.T. Adept communicator with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Experience in the construction industry is highly encouraged to apply.
