Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors and carpets.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors.
- Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
- Disinfect high-touch areas such as doorknobs, light switches, and handrails.
- Clean and maintain kitchen or breakroom areas, including countertops, appliances, and sinks.
- Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
- Identify and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Perform minor repairs, such as replacing light bulbs or unclogging drains (if authorized and capable).
- Ensure that cleaning equipment is properly maintained and in good working order.
- Organize and maintain cleaning supply closets.
- Assist with setting up or rearranging furniture as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness of exterior areas, such as entrances and walkways (may include sweeping or light debris removal).
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Handle cleaning chemicals safely and according to instructions.
- Report any accidents or injuries immediately.
- Secure buildings by locking doors and windows after hours, as directed.
- Assist with deliveries or moving items as needed.
- Respond to cleaning requests or spills promptly.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Time management and organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
