Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java Spring Boot applications for POS devices
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of software with POS hardware
- Implement secure payment processing functionalities and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for communication between POS devices and backend systems
- Optimize application performance and scalability
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development practices
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Java development and POS technologies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development, with at least 3 years of Spring Boot experience
- Strong expertise in developing applications for POS devices
- Proficiency in RESTful API design and implementation
- Experience with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with payment processing protocols and security standards (e.g., PCI DSS)
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
