About HTL Africa HTL Africa works in the spheres of architecture, art, urbanism and technological innovation. We research, design, and build multi-scaled solutions for megacities. Approaching design as a process rather than a product, HTL integrates theory, cultural research and technology into diverse projects in the megacities Africa and the Middle East.

About the role The Junior Architect contributes to and supports architectural projects. They help prepare designs, complete construction documents, write up building plans and assist in the presentation of materials, work with Senior Architect(s) and the Head of Design services to actualize HTL Africa and its client’s design ideas.

Key responsibilities

• · Projects and design: Work with other architect(s) and the head of design, on design ideas and projects. This includes planning and designing of buildings along with a team of Architects,
• Brainstorming project ideas, completing design/ working drawings, model making and assisting in designing and reviewing project proposals.
• Creative, highly innovative and should be able to express his/her design philosophy clearly. Must know the use of advanced techniques and modification/extension of theories, precepts, and practices.

Requirements

· 2-4 years’ experience in design and architecture.

· Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD, Revit, sketch up, Photoshop, InDesign, Vray, Corona, Rhino and other related architecture software/ tools.

· Solid experience in Designing, Researching and creating Presentation decks. .

· Must be proficient in the use of 3D and most rendering software’s.

· Master’s in architecture from a reputable university (Preferred).
