Junior Civil Engineer

Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Scheduling:

• Assist in the development of project plans and schedules.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure all necessary resources are available.

Communication: 

• Act as a point of contact between clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication among team members to ensure everyone is informed about project status and updates.

Documentation:

• Maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, and reports.
• Ensure all project documents are up to date and accessible to relevant parties.

Resource Management:

• Assist in the allocation and management of resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel.
• Monitor resource usage to ensure efficiency and prevent shortages or overages.

Budget Management:

• Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets.
• Track project expenditures and ensure costs are within the allocated budget.

Quality Control:

• Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
• Conduct inspections and audits to verify that work is performed according to specifications.

Risk Management:

• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor risks throughout the project and implement contingency plans as needed.

Reporting:

• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Highlight any issues or delays and propose solutions.

Working with Contractors and Suppliers:

• Liaise with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise with external parties.

Requirements:

• 3 years experience
• Degree in Civil Engineering
