Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Junior Economist at Quantify Africa Initiative in Abuja. The Junior Economist will be responsible for conducting economic research, analyzing microeconomics data, utilising statistical methods, and applying economic principles to provide valuable insights for decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Statistics, or any other quantitative discipline
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative research skills. Strong interest in research is required
- Excellent data analysis skills and visualisation and ability to make sense of complex data
- Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Excel, R, STATA, SPSS)
- Excellent Writing Skills
- Strong foundation in economics or business preferred
- Interest in social media and web preferred
- No prior work experience is required
