Junior Mechanical Technician

About The Role

Burn is looking for a Junior Mechanical Technician who will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical systems and machinery.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Attend to preventive maintenance and breakdowns, identify fault and problem solve, with minimal downtime to production
• Assist in carrying out diagnosis of faults, the maintenance, and repairs to all types of plant and equipment in a safe, timely and professional manner
• Carry out maintenance repairs of mechanical machines
• Resolve mechanical problems
• Collaborate to reducing repair times in relation to machine downtime
• Monitor and maintain records on the utilities’ usage
• Keep maintenance logs
• Should be able to work on shift basis
• Ensure a safe working environment exists for self and colleagues, EHS
• Any other job as may be assigned by management
  
  

Skills And Experience

• OND in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing sector
• Understanding of Mechanical and Hydraulic Presses
