Job Summary

The Key Account Manager (KAM)/Business Development Manager – Sales (Abuja) is responsible for driving business growth in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (EPCI) sector, focusing on Power, Oil & Gas, and Renewable Energy projects within Abuja and the surrounding areas.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the Power, Oil & Gas, and Renewable Energy sectors.
  • Identify, engage, and manage key accounts, ensuring strong relationships and client satisfaction.
  • Lead business development initiatives, including market research, lead generation, and proposal development.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, project management) to tailor solutions for client needs.
  • Negotiate contracts, bids, and tenders with a focus on long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to adapt business strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare and deliver high-impact sales presentations and reports to senior management and clients.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 7+ years in sales, business development, or key account management in EPCI for Power, Oil & Gas, or Renewable Energy.
  • Strong understanding of EPCI project lifecycles, procurement processes, and contract negotiation.
  • Proven track record of winning high-value contracts and managing complex sales cycles.
  • Excellent relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel as required.
