Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests accurately and efficiently, including blood, urine, and tissue analysis.
- Collect, label, and analyze patient samples.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy.
- Record and report test results promptly to medical staff.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret and communicate test results.
- Manage and maintain laboratory inventory and supplies.
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field.
- Must possess a valid license from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of laboratory experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and quality control.
