Job Summary
As a Lab Analyst in the poultry feed industry, you will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests and analyses to ensure the quality and safety of raw materials, in-process products, and finished products. You will work closely with the production and quality control teams to monitor the nutritional content, consistency. This role is vital in ensuring the consistent quality and safety of poultry feed products, which directly impact the health and productivity of poultry livestock.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests on raw materials, feed formulations, and finished products to assess nutritional content, chemical composition, and safety parameters.
- Monitor and analyze quality control data to ensure feed products meet regulatory standards and quality benchmarks.
- Perform physical and chemical analysis, including moisture content, protein, fat, fiber, and ash content in poultry feed.
- Record and report test results accurately, ensuring timely documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Identify potential issues or deviations in feed quality and communicate findings to the production team for corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the R&D and production teams to assist in developing new feed formulations and improving existing products.
- Ensure laboratory equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and sanitized.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and new testing methodologies to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Experience in a laboratory or quality control role, preferably within the poultry or animal feed industry.
- Strong understanding of feed formulation, nutritional analysis, and regulatory standards.
- Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety practices and proper handling of chemicals.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
