Electrical Fitter

Job Summary

The Dangote Cement Plc is seeking a skilled Electrical Fitter to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of electrical systems and equipment within our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components, ensuring adherence to safety standards
• Conduct regular inspections to identify electrical faults and apply the necessary corrective actions
• Assist in the commissioning and testing of electrical equipment
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to enhance electrical performance in the plant
• Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
• Participate in safety meetings and contribute to a culture of safety in the workplace
  
  
  

Requirements

Key Requirements

• Minimum of OND or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance within an industrial setting
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, tools, and safety practices
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
• Willingness to work in shifts and during emergencies as required
