We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Learning and Development Officer to join our team. If you have a passion for empowering individuals through education and training, this role is perfect for you. You will design, implement, and manage training programs that enhance the skills of our candidates and internal team members. Your work will ensure that our talent pool remains competitive and ready to excel in their respective fields and that CareerBuddy remains a leader in providing effective workforce solutions.
Your Responsibilities
- Design & Development: You will develop and implement engaging learning programs, workshops, and training sessions that address the skills gaps of candidates and enhance their employability. You will create training content that is interactive, informative, and relevant to industry needs.
- Training Delivery: You will facilitate training sessions (both in-person and virtual) for candidates, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills for their career advancement. You will provide internal training to CareerBuddy staff to foster continuous professional development.
- Needs Assessment: You will conduct thorough assessments to identify the learning needs of candidates and CareerBuddyâs internal teams. You will use feedback, performance data, and industry trends to tailor training programs accordingly.
- Program Management: You will oversee the entire training lifecycle, from planning and coordination to delivery and evaluation. You will track the progress and effectiveness of training programs, using data-driven insights to make improvements.
- Partnerships & Collaboration: You will collaborate with educational institutions, training organizations, and industry experts to expand the reach and quality of CareerBuddyâs learning initiatives. You will foster partnerships that bring additional resources and opportunities to our training programs.
- Continuous Improvement: You will stay informed on industry trends, emerging skills, and best practices in learning and development. You will regularly update training materials to ensure they remain current, relevant, and effective.
- Recruitment: You will contribute to building the pipeline for the project
The Ideal Candidate has/isâ¦
- At least 3 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, or a related role, preferably within a recruitment or HR services environment.
- Proven ability to design and deliver engaging training content across various formats (in-person, virtual, workshops).
- Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with a talent for making complex topics accessible.
- Experience conducting needs assessments and using data to drive training improvements.
- Passionate about helping people develop their skills and grow professionally.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with e-learning tools, LMS platforms, and digital content creation is a plus.
