The Legal Audit Manager’s primary responsibility is to safeguard the interest of the organization through legal means and by providing legal immunity with respect to the accuracy, authenticity and consistency in documents generation. He/she must ensure that drafted documents are in forms which do not contradict or infringe existing legislation

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all drafted documents comply with local and international laws and align with organizational policies and procedures.
- Oversee the preparation, review, and management of legal documents, ensuring they are accurate, consistent, and legally sound.
- Provide legal advice and assistance to functional heads, directorates, and leadership on agreements, policies, and regulatory matters.
- Develop and implement agreements and policies while effectively communicating their implications to relevant stakeholders.
- Lead and supervise a team of legal officers (RBMs) to ensure efficient document drafting, execution, and file management processes.
- Conduct regular legal audits to identify potential risks, ensure compliance, and mitigate liabilities.
- Stay updated on relevant legal developments, ensuring organizational policies remain current and compliant.
- Serve as a liaison between the organization and external legal bodies, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Educational Qualification: A bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) and a professional qualification to practice law (e.g., Call to Bar or equivalent).
- Experience: Proven experience in legal compliance, corporate law, or legal auditing, preferably in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of local and international legal frameworks and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising legal teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify risks and propose effective solutions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal stakeholders and external legal bodies.
- Proficiency in legal research and document drafting.
- High ethical standards, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
