Job Summary

KDNPlus is seeking three experienced Legal Counsels to support our growing business needs. Each Legal Counsel will focus on key areas such as corporate governance, intellectual property, compliance, and risk management. You will play a vital role in advising the company on legal matters, drafting and negotiating contracts, ensuring regulatory compliance, and protecting our intellectual property.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice on business operations, company policies, and corporate governance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including partnership agreements, vendor contracts, and employment agreements.
  • Manage and protect the company’s intellectual property, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
  • Oversee licensing agreements related to video content and technology.
  • Handle IP infringement issues and manage related disputes.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and other relevant laws.
  • Develop and implement policies to maintain legal compliance across all operations.
  • Advise on the legal aspects of content distribution, user data, and online transactions.
  • Manage legal risks and provide guidance on mitigating potential liabilities.
  • Handle any litigation or disputes, coordinating with outside counsel as needed.
  • Advise on risk management strategies related to business growth, particularly in technology and content delivery.


Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in [relevant jurisdiction].
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate law, intellectual property, compliance, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR).
  • Experience in the technology or media industry is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
