We are looking to hire a Legal Officer with human resource experience to fill this position

  • Minimum Qualification : Diploma
  • Experience Level : Entry level
  • Experience Length : 2 years

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the company complies with all relevant laws and regulations
  • Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations that may affect the company.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Ensure all contracts are legally sound and comply with company policies.
  • Handle and oversee litigation, arbitration, and other dispute resolution processes
  • Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with the company’s operations.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to reduce legal risk
  • Ensure that the company adheres to corporate governance principles and practices.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
  • Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with legal requirements.
  • Develop and update HR policies and employee handbooks.
  • Provide training on legal and HR compliance issues.
  • Develop and implement training programs for employees and management on topics such as workplace harassment, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Assist in the recruitment process, including drafting job descriptions and conducting interviews.
  • Oversee the onboarding process to ensure new hires are integrated into the company smoothly.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) and admission to the bar.
  • Should have a knowledge of property Law
  • The Ideal candidate have human resource experience
  • Additional qualification, certification or experience in Human Resource
  • Experience as a legal officer or attorney, with a strong understanding of corporate and property law.
  • Experience in human resources management, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law, labor regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Understanding of corporate governance and compliance issues.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
