Rising Tide Aid Foundation (RTAid) is a humanitarian and developmental organization based in Maiduguri. RTAid is dedicated to providing Legal Aid, addressing Human Rights Violations, promoting Peacebuilding, and delivering Protection services, including Child Protection, Gender-Based Violence (GBV), and Housing, Land, and Property (HLP) rights.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Legal Practitioner at RTAid in Maiduguri. The Legal Practitioner will be responsible for handling legal consulting, legal matters, and legal issues related to Human Rights, Peacebuilding, and Protection services.
Qualifications
- Law and Legal Consulting skills
- Experience in handling Legal Matters and Legal Issues
- Excellent Communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Experience in humanitarian or legal aid organizations is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Law or related field
