Life Insurance Sales Manager (Lagos, Nigeria)

We are seeking a results-driven Life Insurance Sales Manager based in Lagos, Lekki, Ikorodu, Apapa, Ikeja, Nigeria.

Requirements:

OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

3-5 years of experience in insurance sales and managing a sales force.

*Must possess the NAICOM Agency Proficiency Certificate.

Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and strong leadership skills.

Excellent selling skills and a robust network in the retail market.

Strong persuasion and communication abilities.

Proficiency in data gathering and report preparation.

Must have resided in Lagos for more than 2 years.

The ideal candidate will lead a team to prospect, convert leads into clients, close deals, exceed monthly sales targets, build a strong sales team, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Requirements:

You must be prepared to work alongside your sales team.

You should have at least 5 Unit Sales Managers and a minimum of 20 sales agents on your team.

Some remote work is allowed.

Location: Sabo Yaba, Mushin, Ilupeju, Oshodi, Apapa, and Lekki, Lagos only.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruit, train, mentor, and develop a vibrant, high-performing sales team.

Expand the customer base by reaching out to potential clients.

Conduct client interviews to understand their financial needs and current insurance coverage.

Explain policy features and customize insurance programs to fit client needs.

Drive sales, handle renewals, and ensure team members perform at a high level.

Collaborate with Insurance Sales and Marketing Managers, as well as Unit Sales Managers.

Report issues and provide weekly performance reports.

Mentor team members and work collaboratively on worksite generation strategies.
