Job Summary

The Loan Marketer is responsible for promoting and selling loan products to individuals and businesses. Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:

  • Identify and approach potential clients through various marketing strategies, including field visits, cold calls, and networking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Assess client needs and recommend suitable loan products.


Marketing and Promotion:

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote loan products effectively.
  • Organize promotional events, campaigns, and workshops to generate leads.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design advertising materials and digital campaigns.


Loan Application Processing:

  • Assist clients in completing loan applications and ensure all required documentation is provided
  • Explain loan terms, interest rates, and repayment plans clearly to clients.
  • Coordinate with the credit and underwriting teams to ensure timely loan processing.


Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities and stay updated on competitors’ activities.
  • Provide feedback to management about customer preferences and market trends.


Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and loan applications.
  • Prepare regular reports on marketing activities and performance metrics.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales or marketing, preferably in financial services.
  • Familiarity with local financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of financial products and lending processes.
  • Ability to analyze financial statements and assess creditworthiness.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and basic office applications.
