Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and promote our loan products.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and community stakeholders.
- Receive and review loan applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct thorough client assessments, including financial analysis and site visits.
- Determine loan eligibility and recommend loan terms.
- Prepare loan agreements and disburse loans.
- Monitor loan usage and repayment and provide support to clients.
- Manage loan recovery and implement strategies for delinquent loans.
- Maintain a high-quality loan portfolio and adhere to credit policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience as a Loan Officer or in a similar role, preferably in a microfinance institution
- Strong analytical and financial assessment skills.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong sales and business development skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
