Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Analyze market trends, demand forecasts, and customer requirements to identify areas for improvement.
- Set key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure logistics performance and track progress.
- Plan and coordinate transportation activities, including carrier selection, routing, scheduling, and freight negotiation.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Manage transportation budgets and negotiate contracts with carriers.
- Implement and maintain inventory tracking systems.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics management or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in logistics software and systems
