Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary:


Our team is working on a restoration industry application that would help restoration industry professionals carry out job inspections faster using an AI integrated application.


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Machine Learning Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of a cutting-edge restoration industry app. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing machine learning algorithms to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our app in the restoration domain. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, data scientists, and domain experts, to deliver innovative solutions that address complex challenges in the restoration industry.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Algorithm Development:

• Design and implement machine learning algorithms to analyze and interpret data related to the restoration industry.
  
• Develop models for predictive maintenance, damage assessment, and decision support systems.
  
  

2. Data Processing and Integration:

• Work with large datasets, cleaning and preprocessing data for model training and evaluation.
  
• Collaborate with data engineers to integrate machine learning models seamlessly into the app infrastructure.
  
  

3. Model Training and Evaluation:

• Train and fine-tune machine learning models using state-of-the-art techniques.
  
• Conduct rigorous evaluation and validation of models to ensure robust performance in real-world restoration scenarios.
  
  

4. Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  
• Effectively communicate complex technical concepts and results to non-technical stakeholders.
  
  

5. Continuous Learning and Innovation:

• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in machine learning and relevant technologies.
  
• Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve the app's functionality and performance.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  
• Proven 5 years’ experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in real-world applications.
  
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and experience with machine learning libraries/frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch). Strong understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
  
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and familiarity with deploying models in a production environment.
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of computer vision and image processing for restoration applications.
  
• Familiarity with geospatial data and GIS technologies.
  
• Experience working on mobile applications or IoT devices.
