Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operating tractors, combines, plows, harvesters, and other farming machinery for planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops.
- Performing regular maintenance checks, such as oil changes, lubrication, and part replacements, to ensure machinery functions properly.
- Preparing fields for planting by operating equipment to till, seed, and fertilize soil.
- Using machinery to harvest crops, ensuring minimal waste, and maintaining product quality.
- Identifying and fixing mechanical problems quickly to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
- Following all safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Keeping accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and any repairs performed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE
- 1 year working experience
