Machine Operator

Responsibilities:

• Operate and oversee blow and molding machines to produce plastic products according to specifications and quality standards.
• Accurately mix raw materials and additives according to established formulas and procedures to ensure optimal product quality.
• Inspect finished products for defects, dimensional accuracy, and adherence to quality standards. Make adjustments as necessary to meet specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery. Report any major issues or malfunctions to the maintenance team.
• Diagnose and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of production runs, material usage, and machine performance.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Wear and utilize personal protective equipment as required.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and product quality.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4-5 years of hands-on experience operating plastic blow and molding machines.
• Proven ability to mix plastic materials correctly, with a strong understanding of material properties and their impact on production.
• Proficient in operating and troubleshooting blow and molding machinery. Familiarity with automated and semi-automated systems is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in machine operation and product inspection.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and address issues efficiently.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and practices in a manufacturing environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical training or certifications are a plus.
